What we collect and why

• Business contacts (clients, prospects, partners and people in our professional networks): name, company, job title, work email and phone, and our correspondence and meetings with you. We use this for relationship management, sales and marketing to businesses. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
• Newsletter subscribers: email, name, and what you open and click. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Participants in our surveys and events: what you answer or register, used as described in the survey's or event's own notice.
• Job applicants: application, CV and assessment notes, used for recruitment. Legal basis: steps before a contract (art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest.
• Website visitors: cookie data and usage statistics (see the cookie list below). Necessary cookies: legitimate interest. Analytics: consent through the cookie banner.

Where we get data from

Mostly from you. For business contacts we may also get your details from our own professional networks, such as LinkedIn connections exported by the person who is connected with you, from your colleagues or the company you work for, or from public company information. If we got your details from someone other than you, we tell you so in our first direct message to you.

Who we share it with

We use suppliers (data processors) for hosting, CRM, email, files, time tracking, surveys and AI tools. The current list, with locations and transfer bases, is at insights.marchitechs.com/privacy/subprocessors. When data leaves the EU/EEA, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

• Business contacts: while there is an active relationship. After 24 months without contact we review the details and delete or anonymise them.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Job applicants: 6 months after the recruitment closes, unless you agree to us keeping your application longer.
• Accounting records: 5 years, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
• Cookies: as stated in the cookie list below.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to our processing, and to data portability. You can always object to direct marketing, and we then stop. Write to anders.bjorn-strunge@marchitechs.com.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby (www.datatilsynet.dk).

This cookie is used to prevent the chat widget welcome message from appearing again for one day after it is dismissed.
It contains a boolean value of True or False.

__hsmem
This cookie is set when visitors log in to a HubSpot-hosted site.
It contains encrypted data that identifies the membership user when they are currently logged in.
It expires in seven days. 

hs-membership-csrf
This cookie is used to ensure that content membership logins cannot be forged.
It contains a random string of letters and numbers used to verify that a membership login is authentic.
It expires at the end of the session.

hs_langswitcher_choice
This cookie is used to save a visitor’s selected language choice when viewing pages in multiple languages.
It is set when a visitor selects a language from the language switcher and is used as a language preference to redirect them to sites in their chosen language in the future if they are available.
It expires in two years.

__cfruid

__hstc
The main cookie for tracking visitors.
It contains the domain, hubspotutk, initial timestamp (first visit), last timestamp (last visit), current timestamp (this visit), and session number (increments for each subsequent session).
It expires in 6 months.

hubspotutk
This cookie keeps track of a visitor's identity. It is passed to HubSpot on form submission and used when deduplicating contacts.
It contains an opaque GUID to represent the current visitor.
It expires in 6 months.

__hssc
This cookie keeps track of sessions.
This is used to determine if HubSpot should increment the session number and timestamps in the __hstc cookie.
It contains the domain, viewCount (increments each pageView in a session), and session start timestamp.
It expires in 30 minutes.

__hssrc
Whenever HubSpot changes the session cookie, this cookie is also set to determine if the visitor has restarted their browser.
If this cookie does not exist when HubSpot manages cookies, it is considered a new session.
It contains the value "1" when present.
It expires at the end of the session
